Employment Terms and Conditions


Please review the following employee responsibilities and sign off in compliance. The act of driving one of the Pipe Quest Projects Ltd. vehicles is a privilege and should be respected. All employees should present themselves in a respectful manner and respect company and public property.

  • Ensure truck is maintained – the worker is responsible for making sure the proper maintenance is done. The oil changes should be scheduled and will be paid for by Pipe Quest Projects Ltd.
  • No trucks will leave the Pipe Quest Projects ltd. yard until the vehicle inspection for has been completed and returned to the office.
  • The employee will be responsible for damages done to the vehicles due to neglect or incident that is found to be the result of the employee’s actions and cost will be deducted from the employee’s paycheck.
  • Monthly inspections as well as pre- and post-trip inspections are the responsibilities of the employee driving the vehicle.
  • The employee is always responsible to maintain a clean vehicle. All garbage and personal items should be removed after the vehicle has been returned to the office. If the vehicle is found to be NOT properly cleaned upon return the vehicle will be cleaned at the employee’s expense and deducted from the employee’s paycheck.
  • All items hauled by the employee with the company vehicle should be secured by the employee and are the responsibility of the employee to verify they are secure before travelling. Make sure proper securement techniques are applied. Ensure the straps used are appropriate for the load.
  • Always drive defensively.
  • Ensure all of the safety equipment is present, adequate and functioning.
  • As part of your monthly inspection make sure you inspect the fire extinguisher and sign off on the tag as performed the monthly check.
  • If any maintenance or repairs are required please complete the pre-trip inspection with the necessary repairs and hand in to the foreman/office.
  • If an incident occurs, document the incident and take pictures for the report.
  • Any incidents should be reported to the foreman/office as soon as possible so an investigation can be completed.
  • All tools will be logged and accounted for upon sign out of the vehicles and it is the driver’s responsibility to ensure the tools are there upon return or they will be held responsible to reimburse Pipe Quest Projects Ltd.
  • All damages, repairs, cleaning or extra charges reported from hotels/housing charges will be deducted from the employee’s paycheck.

I authorize Pipe Quest Projects Ltd. to deduct any repairs, damages and cleaning costs that have occurred based on my personal conduct.
